As members of an international service organization, Sigma women are distinct individuals who have bonded together under the common principles of:


Sisterhood – Our quest to promote sisterhood extends well beyond our royal blue and gold colors. We believe that true sisterhood is all encompassing throughout womankind and is not exclusionary, judgmental or pretentious.


Scholarship – Through a lifelong commitment to the acquisition of knowledge and high scholastic attainment, we believe that we will be better equipped to ensure the stability of the future for our families, our communities and ourselves.


Service – Our motto “Greater Service, Greater Progress” is the driving force behind our programs and events. We are shaping the future by actively participating in, with and for our communities today.


Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. provides academic enhancement, friendships that last a lifetime, development of leadership skills, and the opportunity to serve the community.
